THE DUSTY HOUR

Step into the Crackup Sisters’ backyard for an unforgettable 1970s-style game show under the Outback sky. The Dusty Hour invites you to enjoy a sunset like no other, where stage lights, outback stories, music, and vaudevillian acts come together for a night full of laughter and charm.

This brand-new Queensland show features original music from Niq Reefman and Matt Hill, alongside circus, comedy, and plenty of audience participation — meaning you might just find yourself part of the action! Performed in the Outback’s newest venue, The Dustarena, this experience will warm your heart, tickle your funny bone, and leave you with memories as wide as the western sky.

Who Are The Crackup Sisters?

The Crackup Sisters are true Outback locals — born and bred in Winton, Queensland — and have become one of the region’s most beloved entertainment acts. Known for their whip-cracking stunts, daring circus tricks, and laugh-out-loud comedy, these sisters bring the wild heart of the Outback to life wherever they go.

QMF respectfully acknowledges the Koa Peoples as the Traditional Owners and Custodians of the lands, waters and skies of Winton, where The Dusty Hour unfolds. We honour their deep and unbroken connection to Country, culture and community, and pay our respects to Elders past and present. We recognise that music, art and story have echoed across these lands since time immemorial, shaped by knowledge holders whose cultural practices continue to influence and inspire this experience. Always Was, Always Will Be.
