TAMBO BUSH DANCE

Kick off your dancing boots and get ready for some line-dancing, Outback style! The Tambo Bush Dance brings together Trail Travellers and the local community for a night of boot-scootin’, toe-tappin’ fun.

Got two left boots? Don’t worry — there will be plenty of supporters there to show you the steps. Whether you’re joining in on the action or just kicking back to enjoy tunes from local artists, this is one hell of a night you won’t want to miss.

Please note: This event is not included in the Trail Traveller Pass — be quick and grab your early bird tickets today!

Welcome to Tambo

Known as Queensland’s oldest town, Tambo is a charming stop, rich in heritage and Outback heart. Wander through its historic main street, visit the Tambo Heritage Precinct, or meet the locals behind the beloved Tambo Teddies, handmade from Australian wool. Set along the banks of the Barcoo River, Tambo is where time slows down, stories are shared, and visitors are welcomed like family — a true Outback gem where history and hospitality go hand in hand.
