PRESENTED BY QLD MUSIC TRAILS

LEE KERNAGHAN
LIVE IN LONGREACH

Under the wings of aviation history, an Australian music icon takes the stage.

This one-of-a-kind concert sees Lee Kernaghan perform live at the legendary Qantas Founders Museum, surrounded by towering aircraft that helped connect a nation. With historic planes framing the night sky, this is more than a concert, it’s an unforgettable Outback moment where music, place, and story collide.

Lee Kernaghan’s songs are stitched into the fabric of regional Australia. For more than three decades, he’s soundtracked life beyond the city limits with anthems like Boys From The Bush, The Outback Club, and Hat Town. His live shows are renowned for their powerhouse energy, big-hearted storytelling, and a setlist that spans generations. Fresh off sold-out tours and with new music on the horizon, Kernaghan brings his full-throttle live experience to Longreach for a night that promises goosebumps and sing-alongs in equal measure.

As the sun drops behind the fuselages and floodlit aircraft loom overhead, the Qantas Founders Museum transforms into an open-air arena like no other – a place where the spirit of exploration meets the pulse of live Australian music.

Supporting Lee on the night is local talent Riley Ziskey, an emerging local country artist from Longreach, whose high-energy sound blends modern country with a nod to the 90s tradition he grew up on. From cattle stations to national festival stages, Riley’s rise has been fast, and performing in his hometown makes this event especially meaningful.

Support for this event has been provided through the jointly funded Australian-Queensland Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA).

This is Lee Kernaghan, live in Longreach.

Welcome to Longreach

Set on the banks of the Thomson River, Longreach is the beating heart of the Queensland Outback, where big skies, bold stories, and pioneering spirit come together. It’s a town shaped by innovation and resilience, best embodied at the iconic Qantas Founders Museum, where Australia’s national airline first took flight. Today, Longreach invites visitors to step into the stories that helped shape the nation, blending rich aviation history, outback hospitality, and a deep sense of place that stays with you long after you’ve rolled on down the road.

QMF respectfully acknowledges the Iningai, Malintji and Kuunkari Peoples as the Traditional Owners and Custodians of the lands, waters and skies of Longreach, where Spirit of the Bush unfolds. We honour their deep and unbroken connection to Country, culture and community, and pay our respects to Elders past and present. We recognise that music, art and story have echoed across these lands since time immemorial, shaped by knowledge holders whose cultural practices continue to influence and inspire this experience.
Always Was, Always Will Be.
