Thursday, 5 June 2025 – Townsville’s Flinders Street precinct and surrounding venues will come alive with Northern SOUND, a boutique live music and arts event offering a choose-your-own-adventure style night of discovery — all for just $20.

As part of The Reef Trail by QLD Music Trails, Northern SOUND celebrates the coastal spirit through a dynamic mix of country, garage rock, and folk/roots rock, with performances from emerging and established artists across multiple local venues.

One ticket gives you access to it all — explore different sounds, soak up the atmosphere, and discover the best of Townsville’s creative energy at your own pace.

The event also includes industry development workshops in partnership with QMusic and the Live Music Office, supporting the growth of North Queensland’s live music scene.
