WILL REMEDY LIVE AT HOTEL SHAKESPEARE

Make dinner plans at Hotel Shakespeare, one of the largest country hotels still operating in Queensland from its original 1925 building.

Guests will enjoy free live music from Will Remedy, performing two short sets throughout the evening (7:00pm-7:25pm and 7:40pm-8:05pm). Playing solo, he brings a country-kissed rock 'n' roll vibe to the room, reminiscent of his band Good Will Remedy.

After an afternoon at the the QLD Music Trail: The Outback event Outback Exchange, filled with storytelling, music and connection, this is the perfect opportunity to relax, enjoy dinner, and wind down in a unique vintage pub-style venue with live music.

Make a dinner reservation directly with Hotel Shakespeare here.

Welcome to Barcaldine

Barcaldine is situated on the junction of the Capricorn and Landsborough Highways and is known as the Garden City of the West. Many visitors use Barcaldine as a base from which to explore central west Queensland. The extensive range of accommodation and shopping facilities make Barcaldine a relaxing place to stay, recover and explore. Barcaldine is the largest town in the Barcaldine Regional Council area, and it is proud of its interesting and famous history.

QMF respectfully acknowledges the Iningai Peoples as the Traditional Custodians of the lands, waters and skies of Barcaldine, where Outback Exchange unfolds. We honour their deep and unbroken connection to Country, culture and community, and pay our respects to Elders past and present. We recognise that music, art and story have echoed across these lands since time immemorial, shaped by knowledge holders whose cultural practices continue to influence and inspire this event.
