SUNDOWNER

Celebrate the serene beauty of Lake Proserpine / Gia Country at the Sundowner, a lakeside gathering where music, nature, and community come together in perfect harmony. Just 30 minutes inland from Proserpine, this hidden gem offers a peaceful setting to slow down, soak in the surroundings, and let the evening unfold with warmth and good company.

Headlined by Karl S. Williams, whose award-winning band brings a rich, soulful sound inspired by country blues, gospel, and mountain music. Known for their captivating performances at festivals across Australia, Karl and his band weave storytelling, energy, and rhythm into every song, creating a musical experience that is both uplifting and unforgettable.

Joining him is Andrea Kirwin, whose heartfelt, story-driven songs reflect her Australian-Fijian heritage and unique blend of folk and island soul. Whether performing solo or with her ensemble, Andrea’s music resonates with warmth, authenticity, and joy, drawing audiences into a world of shared emotion and storytelling.

Adding a local flavour to the Sundowner is Josiah Samuel from Airlie Beach. His solo acoustic reggae roots bring a relaxed, uplifting energy to the lakeside setting, providing a perfect complement to the afternoon’s rich musical journey.

Set against the tranquil backdrop of the lake and the traditional lands of the Gia people, the Sundowner is a chance to immerse yourself in live music, captivating performances, and the beauty of the Queensland landscape.
