The award-winning, world-first concert series Between the Tides returns for its third year on June 13 & 14, featuring renowned artists Xavier Rudd and Kee’ahn.
Set against the breathtaking backdrop of Cape Hillsborough National Park on Yuwi Country, just 40 minutes from Mackay, this exclusive event offers a rare opportunity to experience Australia’s most celebrated artists in a remote coastal paradise like no other.
Guided by the Yuwi Nation, the event begins at the Gathering Space in the parklands, where live performances, interactive workshops, and locally crafted food and art await. As the sun sets, your Yuwi hosts will guide you to the sands for a concert under the stars—a truly unparalleled cultural experience.
Rooted in sustainable eco-tourism, Between the Tides was created in consultation with Yuwi Traditional Owners to respect and preserve this sacred land and its unique ecosystems. Here, you’ll leave only footprints and take only unforgettable memories.

There is no parking at Between the Tides in Cape Hillsborough National Park. All guests must use the complimentary Seaforth Event Shuttle bus or ticketed Mackay Event Bus transfers.
Bus transfers will operate from Caneland Central in Mackay. A return ticket costs $15 per person, and must be booked in addition to your event ticket.
Please note: Mackay transfers are not available for VIP ticketholders as the VIP activities begin at 3pm, prior to the first Mackay bus departure from Caneland Central.
The first bus departs at 7.40pm, allowing ample time following the conclusion of Xavier Rudd’s set, which runs from 5.30pm to 6.30pm.
Cape Hillsborough is 50 kilometres north-east of Mackay on the Hibiscus Coast. To get there, follow the signs to Seaforth, taking the Bruce Highway via The Leap.
As you approach, you'll notice the sugar cane fields give way to mountain scenery with rainforest, eucalypts, and hoop pines.
There’s no parking at Between the Tides in Cape Hillsborough National Park. All guests must use our event bus transfers. Locals or drivers can park at Seaforth Sporting Ground Reserve for a fee, with a free shuttle to the event.
