Outback Sounds sees a host of performances hit the stage at Buchanan Park, Mount Isa on Saturday May 9th May 2026. With Gates opening from 1:00pm, and performances from 1:30pm-10pm, Queensland Music Trails invites everyone to the ultimate Outback party under the stars, headlined by Kaylee Bell (NZ) and The Wolfe Brothers, two of Australasia’s most exciting country acts.General Admission Tickets & VIP tickets available online and at the door.
There will be a range of market stall holders and food vendors on site. Alcohol will be available at our licensed bars, proof of age will be required, and alcohol is only permitted to be consumed within the licensed areas.

Yes, Outback Sounds is an all ages event. Everyone entering the gate requires a ticket regardless of age.

Yes!Pass outs are permitted at Outback Sounds. You will be searched by security upon re-entry and require a wristband to re enter.
The festival gates open at 1pm with performances begging from 1:30pm through to 10pm.

There will be scattered seating throughout the event.
Patrons can bring their own low set camp chairs (subject to a security search at event entry).
Chairs will not be permitted in some event areas for safety reasons.
Outback Sounds does not have any camping options available.The Showground camping will not be open for camping during the event.

The show will proceed with light rain. In the event of heavy rain or storm during event time, the show may be delayed. Bring a rain poncho!

There will be no ATMs within the event site. If cash is required please use Mount Isa ATMs located close to the event.
Both Cash and Card payments are accepted at the event.
No lockers or coat check is available on site.
Pets (with the exception of registered assistance animals) are strictly prohibited. Please contact our team to let us know if you are bringing a registered assistance animal via our accessibility page. You will be required to present to box office and security for credentials to be checked prior to entry. All service animals must be restrained at all times whilst within the event.
Limited parking is available for patrons with access needs.
You will be required to show a government parking permit on your window/dashboard at all times.

Yes, however please note the event is outdoors and the ground is unsealed red outback dirt and grassed in areas.
There will be an allocated area for patrons with access needs within the event.
This will be signed on the day. Please note there will be limited shade in these areas.

There is on-site parking at Buchanan Park Events Complex directly outside the venue itself.
As we are deep in Queensland's Outback, public transport options are limited. There is parking available onsite at the venue.

Tickets will be emailed to the nominated email address provided during booking.
If you have not received your ticket please check your spam/junk folders.
In the first instance, check your Junk/Spam inbox for lost emails. If you require your ticket to be re-sent please action this directly through Moshtix.
If you still can't find your tickets, please submit an event enquiry form with us below with as much detail as possible and we'll help as much as we can.
If an event has been postponed and you can no longer attend you are eligible for a full refund. Ticketholders will be informed on how to proceed via email.
Australian Consumer Law does not require a refund or other remedy to be provided to ticketholders if they cannot attend an event because a government directive requires them to self-isolate, for example, because they have contracted COVID-19 or are a close contact.
If you can no longer attend due to other reasons (including a COVID-related directive requiring your to self-isolate), you may not be eligible for a refund.

We are unable to verify the validity of tickets that have been purchased via an unauthorised ticket reseller.
Other resale sites such as Viagogo are not official resellers and are not endorsed by us or our venues. We retain the right to cancel tickets purchased via unauthorised ticket resellers.
Children 5 & Under will get free entry, but still require a ticket. Please note that child tickets are limited to 5 per order.
