PRESENTED BY QMF AND OPERA QUEENSLAND

EXPERIENCE TOSCA: AN OPERATIC MASTERPIECE WITH FESTIVITIES FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY

Gather the entire family for a delightful experience at the highlight of Opera at Jimbour - an enchanting afternoon performance of Tosca!

Enriched with compelling themes of romance and betrayal, propelled by an electrifying score, Tosca stands as the epitome of operatic excellence. Whether you’re a first-time opera attendee or a seasoned enthusiast, the allure of Tosca is destined to captivate and resonate, ensuring an enchanting experience for all.

The Amphitheatre will be abuzz from 12pm on Saturday 11 May, with local market stalls, food vendors, bars, and pre-show entertainment. Immerse yourself in the festivities before the grand performance unfolds from 2:30pm to 5pm.

Families will delight in an array of activities, including lawn games, face painting and enchanting horse-drawn carriage rides around the picturesque grounds, courtesy of local Dalby provider, K Bun Carriages. Each carriage ride is 20 minutes and accommodates a maximum of 4 passengers. Tickets are exclusively available onsite from the main box office.

QMF respectfully acknowledges the Wakka Wakka, Jarowair, and Barrumgum Peoples as the Traditional Owners and Custodians of the land, waters and skies where the Southern Trail unfolds. We extend our respects for their enduring connection to the remarkable terrain, where creative works take place, performances resonate, and celebrations come to life. We pay our respects to Elders past and present, and to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders of all communities who also work and live on this land. We recognise the importance of First Nations leadership and collaboration, and QMF commits to walking together on a journey of shared learning and culture.
