QLD Music Trails is more than a series of events - it’s a movement connecting people, place, and culture through music. From the red dirt of the outback to the lush rainforests of Far North Queensland, the crystal-clear waters of the Great Barrier Reef, and the lush peaks of the Scenic Rim, we are proud to work alongside First Nations artists and communities across the state. First Nations voices, languages, and stories are woven into the very fabric of the Trails, ensuring culture is not just represented but truly celebrated.

Our Highlights

In 2024, contracts with First Nations artists and arts workers totalled more than $670,000 in value.
609 First Nations artists featured across the Trails in 2023 and 2024, making up 51% of all programmed artists.
Hosted Trail events across 25 Indigenous Countries in 2024.

Our Initiatives

MobTix

What is MobTix?

MobTix is our commitment to making world-class music and cultural events accessible to First Nations communities. By offering complimentary or discounted tickets, we are breaking down financial barriers and creating opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, as well as Māori, Pasifika, and our Global First Nations friends, to experience and connect through live performance.

Why it matters?

Our MobTix initiative is about more than just access—it’s about recognition, inclusion, and ensuring First Nations voices, stories, and audiences are at the heart of everything we do.
