Where is the event taking place?

Our Saddle Up event is are taking place at the Goondiwindi Town Park, 25 Marshall Street, Goondiwindi QLD 4390


What is Saddle Up?

Pack your swag, round up your mates and head out west to start the first day of your outback musical adventure. The first destination? Goondiwindi, where you'll settle along the tranquil banks of the mighty Macintyre River.  

The Outback Trail 2024 kicks off in grand style with Saddle Up taking centre stage. More than just the official launch, it's the opening ceremony of our extraordinary journey—a spirited invitation to all Queensland Music Trail-goers to saddle up for the trail ahead. To celebrate this momentous occasion, we've curated a day of great music, delicious food and boundless excitement for the good times on the horizon.


Where can I purchase tickets?

Tickets to Saddle Up 2024 can be booked via Moshtix via the link below. This is a free event, however we request all patrons book a ticket prior to attending so we can properly prepare for how many people are attending.

Is it an all-ages event?

Yes, Saddle Up is an all ages event. Please select the relevant RSVP selection when registering, all minors must be accompanied by an 18+ legal guardian at all times.


Do I need a ticket to attend?

We encourage all patrons intersted in attending Saddle Up 2024 to register your interest below: 


What are the running times?

The doors open at 10am with our first act starting at 10am. The event finish time is 2pm.

Full set list to be released closer to the event.


What should I bring?

Feel free to bring your picnic rugs or chairs so you can settle in comfortably to watch the music. This is an outdoor event so please prepare for all weather conditions. Don't worry, we will keep you up to date on the forecast!

What is NOT allowed at the event?

As a licensed event BYO Alcohol is strictly prohibited.

Is seating provided at the event?

There are a few park benches in Town Park, however don't count on them being free! Please bring your own picnic blankets and chairs for a comfy place to sit. 


What if it rains?

The show will proceed with light rain. In the event of heavy rain or storm during event time, the show may be delayed. Bring a rain poncho!


Can I camp?

Saddle Up does not have camping available on site. Goondiwindi have an extensive range of accommodation options, however there are multiple events happening on this day so we suggest you book quickly! 


Is there parking?

There is public parking available on all sides of Town Park. Remember to read all signs correctly to ensure you're parking safely and legally. 


Will there be ATMs?

There are no ATMs at Town Park, however there are a few ATMs located within a 5 minute walk down Marshall Street in the town centre. 


Will there be lockers to store my things?

No lockers or coat check is available on site.


Can I bring my pet?

Town Park is pet friendly, however there are no waste or water facilities for pets, so please ensure you come prepared. All pets must be kept on a leash at all times.

Is accessible parking available?

Limited parking is available for patrons with access needs. Reach out to our team by completing the access request form and we'll endeavour to be of assistance.



Is the event wheelchair accessible?

Yes, Town Park is wheelchair accessible 


Are assistance animals allowed?

Yes, assistance animals are most welcome at all Qld Music Trails events. We do request that you let us know in advance by submitting an Access Request here so we can notify our front of house team.


Will there be AUSLAN interpreters?

No, there will be no AUSLAN interpreters for this event.

How will I receive my tickets?

Tickets will be emailed to the nominated email address provided during booking. If you have not received your ticket please check your spam / junk folders
