More than a festival, The Reef Trail as a celebration of place, creativity, and connection, designed to immerse you in the natural beauty and vibrant culture of Far North Queensland.

QMF respectfully acknowledges the Gia and Ngaro Peoples as the Traditional Custodians of the lands, waters and skies on which The Reef Trail unfolds. We honour their deep and unbroken connection to Country, culture and community, and pay our respects to Elders past and present.
We recognise that music, art and story have echoed across these lands since time immemorial, shaped by generations of knowledge holders whose songs, rhythms and cultural practices continue to influence and inspire the creative landscape experienced throughout The Reef Trail.
