DINNER UNDER THE STARS

Experience the true heart of the Outback in Julia Creek, where the locals know how to put on a night to remember. Enjoy homegrown produce cooked up by a local non-profit community group, listen to a true-blue yarn from one of the region’s finest storytellers, and soak up the warmth of the campfire under the stars — you might even walk away with a prize.

The evening’s soundtrack comes courtesy of our 2026 Trail Ambassador, Taylor Moss, bringing her signature country charm to this unforgettable Outback gathering.

Tickets on sale, soon.

Welcome to Julia Creek

Located in the heart of Queensland’s Outback, Julia Creek is a small town with a big heart and plenty to discover. Take a dip and unwind in the famous Artesian Baths, cool off at the water park, or step back in time at the Duncan McIntyre Museum, where the town’s pioneering spirit comes to life. Julia Creek is also home to the endangered Julia Creek Dunnart, a tiny marsupial found nowhere else on earth.

With its friendly locals, rich heritage, and unique attractions, Julia Creek is Outback hospitality at its finest.
