Historical
One of Queensland’s oldest hotels and home to the famous Road Trail burger and annual Pig Races!
Nindigully Pub’s license was issued in 1864 after operating as shearer’s accommodation for the Nindigully Station. From the late 1800s the Nindigully Pub was a Cobb and Co coach change over station. Today, the pub still stands in its original condition and position. Located on the banks of the Moonie River, the pub has become a favourite watering hole and camping spot amongst locals and travellers.
Today you can come along to ‘The Gully’ for the famous Road Train burger! This feed will satisfy four hungry people with it’s juicy 1.2kg beef patty + sides! Or tackle it solo if you dare! Think you can do better? We have even bigger Novelty burgers made with specially shaped bread from our local bakery. These are made to order so make sure you book those in advance which you can do on their website!
Giant burgers not your thing? Come along in November for the annual Pig Races to raise funds to the Royal Flying Doctor’s Service. The day features live musical performances from some of our favourite artists, raffles, auctions, market stalls, jumping castle, fireworks and of course the pig races.
