Pink Matter are redefining what it is to be an all-female band. Sonically sitting somewhere between Madonna, Channel Tres, Bakar and Mildlife, it’s not everyday you see three young classically trained jazz musicians playing club-ready dance music.

Following a long line of women doing it better for themselves – from The Supremes, to Destiny’s Child, The Spice Girls, TLC, HAIM, and all the talented, powerful women in between – Pink Matter are shaping this tradition in their own way on Australian shores.

With just a handful of releases under their belts, Pink Matter have earned support slots for Unknown Mortal Orchestra, The Internet, Mildlife and Lastlings and been booked for the country’s biggest festivals, Splendour In The Grass, Laneway and Pitch.

Having already collaborated with Harvey Sutherland (who’s past remixes include Disclosure and Khruangbin) and Jesswar, 2023 saw the release of their hotly anticipated mixtape GLOSS, featuring production by Memphis LK, Skeleten, Juno Mamba and Club Angel. Libby, Kerry and Izzy are bringing the GLOSS experience to Sydney and Melbourne in August 2023.
