Melbourne folk rockers Jack and Pat Pierce, better known as Pierce Brothers, have been carving out their own path in the indie-folk scene for years. What started as busking sessions on Bourke Street Mall in Melbourne has grown into a massive international career, with the two now known for their incredible live shows and affecting songwriting.

From those early street performances where they shared the pavement with the likes of Tash Sultana and Tones and I, the duo built a loyal following the old-fashioned way: gig by gig, tour by tour. Along the way, they’ve played sold-out shows around Australia and the world, hit major festivals across Australia, Europe, South Africa, and North America; as well as supporting some huge names including James Blunt, Ben Harper, Zac Brown Band, and St. Paul and the Broken Bones to name a few.

With back-to-back #1 AUS ARIA albums Everything Is Bigger Than Me (2024) and Moonrise (2025), and over 50 million streams to date, the past few years have been huge.

They dropped a string of new releases, jumped on stage with artists they grew up listening to, and even popped up on Playschool for a surprise 2023 guest spot. After wrapping up a sold-out run of shows around Europe and the UK in 2026, the brothers are back on home turf selling shows out across Australia with plans already set in place for Canada, Singapore and Europe again into 2027.

Pierce Brothers haven’t taken their foot off the gas for years, and there’s no sign of slowing down!
