Karl S. Williams is a singer-songwriter from Australia’s east coast. Born and raised on Bundjalung Country he and his band currently live and work on Yugambeh Country. Karl writes songs of many different kinds, inspired by old country blues, gospel and mountain music. He plays the piano, guitar and banjo and sings hard – to which the band add a classic rhythm and blues section with heapings of mojo and jazz pedigree. 
 
Karl his band have been making music together for over a decade appearing at festivals such as Blues on Broadbeach, Woodford Folk Festival and Townsville Folk Festival. They have released three albums of original music and been awarded two Queensland Music Awards (2021 and 2018) and both ‘Release of the Year’ (Lifeblood 2021) and ‘Artist of the Year’ (2015) at the Gold Coast Music Awards.
