Marrying psychedelia with folk and a touch of country, Baby Cool is the latest side project by Nice Biscuit co-front woman Grace Cuell.
“The songs are deeply sentimental. I have a lot I need to sing about to help me make sense of this earthly pod I have been gifted. If in singing these words out loud, I can help others find solace in knowing that we’re all out here flailing about in the cosmos, then it feels good to me.” - Cuell
Earlier this year, Baby Cool hit the road with the Babe Rainbow, performing on the renowned stages of the Princess Theatre (Brisbane) and the Metro Theatre (Sydney). With Cool’s live band composed of members from Nice Biscuit, The Flamingo Jones and Cigarny Weaver, it is no surprise these shows were met with rave reviews.
Baby Cool is set to release music later this year via Virgin Music Australia, Greenway Records (US) and Bad Vibes (UK).
