By entering the Promotion, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

1. Trader name and address 

The Queensland Music Festival Pty Ltd (ABN 67 084 526 876) of Level 5, 144 Montague Rd West End, QLD, 4101 ("The Promoter").  

2. Conditions of entry and eligibility requirements 

Entry is only open to Participants who:

  • Have completed their competition entry via QLD Music Trails website landing page & agrees to subscribe to The Promoter's email marketing database.
  • One winner will receive a prize, including 4 x Tickets to the 2024 Opera at Jimbour's Amphitheatre, Hangar and Garden Soiree events. Free parking for 2x vehicles.
  • One entry per person
  • are over 18 years old on the date of their entry  
  • are an Australian resident  

Participants will be eligible to be awarded the Prize if they meet the competition conditions of entry:  

The following are ineligible from being awarded the Prize:  

  • employees of the Promoter;  
  • parties to whom the Promoter has contracted work in relation to the Promotion;  
  • parties who are otherwise directly involved with this Promotion; or  
  • any immediate family member of the above-mentioned parties.  
  • Those who have not pre-registered and agreed to the above terms 

3. Duration of entry period 

The entry period for the prize draw is from Tuesday 30 January until 12:00PM AEST Thursday 8 February 2024

4. Details of prize and prize values 

Main prize;

  • Prize: 4 x Tickets to Opera at Jimbour 2024
    • Amphitheatre Performance, Saturday 11 May
    • Hangar Concert, Saturday 11 May
    • Garden Soiree on the Eastern Lawn, Friday 10 May

The Prize(s) are not inclusive of any additional travel, accommodation, or related additional expenses / insurances and The Promoter / organizer will not be held liable for any travel, accommodation, or related costs that may be required in association with the redemption of the Prize that is not included in the advertised package. 

The Prize(s) is not transferable, exchangeable, replaceable or refundable for cash or credit and can only be used as specified

5. Date and time of draw 

The Prize draw will be conducted by the Promoter on Friday 9 February using a third-party digital competition generator. 

6. Publication of winner name

The Winner will be contacted by the email address provided. Some prizes will be issued electronically to nominated email address, subsidiary prizes may also be issued as physical items. 

First name of the winner will be published to social media and shared in Email communications by The Promoter.

7. Unclaimed prize draw 

Winners must claim their prize and confirm contact details by return email within two (2) weeks of the date of notification. Prizes will be delivered to winners within 2 weeks of the date of claim. If a winner has not validly claimed their prize within the expiry noted by the vendor(s) that prize will be forfeited, and no compensation will be payable. 

8. Cost 

There is no cost or fee to enter the Promotion. 

9. Exclusion of Liability 

(a) To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not liable for any loss suffered or sustained by any Participant or any other person including but not limited to consequential (including economic) loss by reason of any act or omissions, deliberate or negligent, by the Promoter or its employees or its contractors or its agents in connection with supply of the prizes awarded to the prize winners.  

(b) The Promoter’s decision on all matters pertaining to this Promotion will be final.  

(c) The Promoter is under no obligation to provide reasons for any of its decisions.  

(d) The Promoter is under no obligation to engage in any form of correspondence whatsoever with Participants or their representatives in matters relating to the Promotion.  

(e) The Prize must be taken as offered and cannot be varied.  

(f) A winner may be liable to declare a prize for tax purposes. The Promoter takes no responsibility for any tax payable on a prize. If any tax is payable on a prize, it is the sole responsibility of the winner. Independent financial advice should be sought.  

(g) The Promoter accepts no responsibility if the Prize is lost, stolen, damaged or tampered with in any way.  

(h) The Promoter does not take responsibility for misdirected correspondence or correspondence received late and the Promoter will not be liable for any loss resulting from transit of prizes.  

10. Privacy 

The Promoter collects personal information from all Participants in order to conduct the Promotion and to complete the prize draw. If the requested information is not provided, the Participant will not be eligible to participate in the prize draw or to claim a prize and their entry may be discarded.

11. Inconsistency 

To the extent that there is any inconsistency between these terms and conditions and any other published material, these terms and conditions will prevail.  

12. Acknowledgement 

By participating in the Promotion, each Participant acknowledges that these terms and conditions are legally binding. 

QMF reserves the right to alter/change the competition terms and conditions to ensure clarity.
