First Stop: Your Outback Adventure Begins

THIS EVENT ALREADY HAPPENED. SIGN UP TO TRAILS MAIL TO HEAR WHEN THE OUTBACK TRAIL RETURNS!

Pack up your swag, grab your mates and head out west to start the first day of your Outback musical adventure. First stop - St George: settle in along the riverbank of the mighty Balonne River where good old Country hospitality awaits you.

This is your chance to meet and socialise with your fellow Queensland Music Trail-goers while kicking back and enjoying a cool beverage, local eats and, of course, the music!

Your first Oasis Afternoon on the Trails opens with local custodians welcoming you to country with a traditional smoking ceremony before a full day of blues n roots and contemporary folk music featuring Hussy Hicks, Karl S Williams and Jem Cassar-Daley.

If you want, there’s time to stay an extra day in St George before your next stop on the Trail in Cunnamulla.

On the Road with the Barleyshakes Duo

As part of your Trails journey, The Barleyshakes Duo will join you at each stop along the way for On the Road. Musical-minded Trail-goers and locals are invited to join our troubadour duo through the Outback - kicking off right here in St George.
